I started doing music for performance around 2000. I was the lead singer for a Miami metal band called “A Four Letter Word”. I earned my name here after trying out for the band with no mic or PA system, the other members where still able to hear me. The band grew in popularity without a real studio demo and while reviewing a contract sent to us by Mushroom Cloud Records, we disbanded. The drummer and guitarist would eventually get back together with a long time friend and form a new band called “Thick as Blood”, which is currently signed to Eulogy Records. The Drummer is also currently heading the new hardcore band “Knock’em Dead”. It was around 01’-02’ when I went back to my roots and started messing around with instrumentals. I spent a few years freestyling, writing and finding my own voice until finally, after a few life (and lyric) changing events, I released my first official mixtape around June of 2007 “10 Reasons Why You Won’t Like Lung EP”. February of 08’ saw the first release of “Samurai Electro”. This was a four track EP that was also sent out as a demo. It was re-released April 11th 2008 along with a new companion download featuring the acapellas and instrumentals. A compilation release featuring singles, collabs and rare tracks entitled "Underground Oddities" was released shortly after. The tracks dates range from before “10 Reasons” to after “Samurai Electro”. December of 2009 was the release of “The Lonely Hearts Club”; my first full-length instrumental album. Since then Underground Oddities Vol 2, and a collaboration project called “Iron-Phil-aments” (me mainly manning production, and Phil G on vocals) was released as a free download on Datpiff.com. 2010 also saw the release of a remix mixtape featuring some Def Jux favorites, Aesop Rock, Cage, and El-P; "Juxtaposition" was released on to Bandcamp.com along with another small EP called "Warning". I am currently working on my last free project before finishing the first and last Iron Lung Album. I am also producing a new EP for NY Legend C-Rayz Walz. Lots of new songs in the works, and shows to be booked soon, so become a fan!

Story behind the song
Jonestown, a paradise promised turned into a living nightmare camp. But was it all a plan?
Lyrics
I was like ten minutes from the Kool-Aid / one sip away from the deadly concoction ending up like a Jonestown resident on a White Night / paper cup with grape powder cyanide add valium and dilute into the water / blind faith or death threats its all the same / self-proclaimed saviors D.O.A. osculate with the Black ops / a dead congressman and a C.I.A. conspiracy (this verse will blackball me) / somehow we see a few lives lost in the program memorandum as nothing more then a necessary sacrifice / one for all, all for the greater good; but what happens to those words when they look in your direction / I beg to differ, because when its death your faced with / you cry for help and God dont believe in Atheists / I know for a fact youve heard all before but youre about a day late and a dollar short / admission fee doubled; but the Jones socialist paradise can be yours (just trade in your soul for a shovel) / Jim will lead to procreate a new sheltered saved union in the one-niner seventy eight (seventy eight) / in similar fashion; its not even the first time / reminiscent to Reverend General Jealous Devine / he rocked the Bronx with a similar defeat and used a common salutation now known as Peace (say what?) I'm going to be just as plain as I know how to tell you / I've never lied to you / I never have lied to you / I know that's what's [going to] happen. That's what he intends to do / and he will do it [He'll do it.] One time loyalist now seen as defectors / and family or not; unity now disheveled / no matter how rapid the growth chart the number project you cant mistake fear as a replacement for respect / one shot to getaway two planes on the strip / three seconds under the poncho before he emptied out the clip / the jeep pulled up on the Cessna and the partisans deployed a barrage of homicide and the cameras kept rolling / (Forty five minutes later) they reached the camp ground with a thousand-yard stare and a pocket full of save yourself wafers / it was finally time they gave up this dimension / a demented promise loosely based on pure intentions / you can have it all; as I see fit / you can do it all and Ill reap your benefits / win-win; this is my type of situation but I think Im cursed (and somehow I dont think this night its just a rehearsal) / the line wrapped around but strangely seemed to move quick / all the eager beavers eagerly waiting to take a sip / drink up sit down now move out the vision of the next body fooled into becoming another victim / the kiddies went first / a daunting first glimpse at the poison being fed through a plastic syringe / meant to thwart all hope / abandon all dreams (no dreams) no more sanctity to uphold this family / dont feel bad; (you wont even miss it) / youll be dead and silent somewhere inside of five minutes / well Jones won and then went out with a bang took out Annie Moore left her body in a cabin / was this a series of unfortunate events / or was is it a planned cover up for murderous intent / the Hugh-Ryan Act would have had the C.I.A. forced to expose covert ops and provide public reports / accountability; is no where near the vicinity / it plagued the thoughts of relatives relative to true divinity / all the issues seemed trivial and added to the sorrow / but all things included are here today and gone tomorrow
