An electronic indie / new wave band. Call them elektrodelic. Often imitated, but with less of what you hate.
Imagine reading a book that totally turned you on. Then, the title of the book becomes the name of your band. And you like robots. Time travel. And The Beatles formed your first love of music. Can you imagine that? Good. Because then you dressed weird. Dyed your hair. Got into Joy Division, The Kinks, Kraftwerk, and computers. And you became Anything Box

Story behind the song
The song Carmen first appeared on Anything Box's first album, Peace. It got international attention, but the band was not aware of it. This was, after all, the early 90s and the internet was just a word for email. A tour of South America in front of 70,000 people opened their eyes, and they began to realize that success had been missed! Fast forward to now. While again in South America, this time in Ecuador, the idea of remixing Carmen, and recording it in Spanish came as a flash of genius. And just in time, too! Be sure to visit the band's site: www.anythingbox.com for more music and videos!
