This is pretty much the same as the other 'Esa Mujer' I wrote (I did change a good amount of the lyrics and added some though. Patrick plays keyboard on this version. Again, this is supposed to be a duet.

Mmy name is Chris Gomez. Im a songwriter from Houston, TX. However, a good amount of folks know me from the RGV. Recently, I also started OjaLa, a norteno group here in Houston, with my cousin Jesse.
Story behind the song
A buddy of mine (who's in a relationship now, and who I doubt wants to be named) and I once went to a club. We both met this particular girl that same night. I remember on the way home he was like, "she's nice man, you should go for her". I told him she really wasn't my type (I was lying) and that maybe he should go for her instead. So he did. They dated a couple times. We actually went out with a bunch of friends and she and I hit it off pretty good that night. She gave me her number and told me to call her. However, I couldn't do that to my friend, but I kept it though (lol). I liked her for other reasons, he wanted to have sex with her. When she didn't put out a few days later, this guy tosses her aside. I suggested he didn't do that since she was a nice girl. He said, "I don't wanna talk to her anymore, you like her, maybe you talk to her. Yea great idea, talk to her so she won't call me anymore." So I did. It was pretty cool. We went out several times. Then out of no where, he starts getting upset, maybe even a little jealous. We start arguing and he implements a new rule: "No More Sharing". LMAO "We never were", I tell him. Longer story shorter, we kinda argued to the point where his jealousy and bitterness made me end it with her. Well that, plus she wasn't all I thought she was at first. (No, I wasnt after the booty) This is a song I wrote about the situation.
You can understand my role and his a little better in the song by following that the lines that start with 1 = HIM, 2 = ME.
