Steve's songs have a blend of folk, pop and rock with straight forward lyrics and pleasing, catchy melodies. Steve was born in Kingston, Ontario and currently lives in Calgary, Alberta. He has been crafting songs since the age of fourteen and has penned over 150 songs. The running list of artists that Steve has been told he sounds like includes: Jim Croce, David Gray, Gordon Lightfoot, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Blue Rodeo, Peter Murphy, Herman’s Hermits and Paul Simon. And those guys don't all sound the same, which means, we think, that Steve can't be clumped into one category or genre.
