Story behind the song

In memory of the fallen soldiers - Memorial Day Dedication. Spent the day trying to recover lost files and found this gem. I thought it was appropriate for the Holiday weekend. I wrote this in memorial for my roomate's father who passed away back in 2002. He was a Veteran....
