The second song that Grid (mike) and I made. It was started sometime shortly after 9/11/01 (why it was named what it was).

Story behind the song
This one stands out there for me, because of when it was made. Post 9/11/01, like a few days later. Which is where it's title came from. I started this one by laying down the first third of the main drumline (the drum loop structure that would form the backbone for the entire piece). 'Grid' would be there through the last half of that process and then he agreed to add the synth parts. He also made most of the suggestions for the mid-song parts and gave me tremendous imput when the bass was later added. I felt that at that point the song was done, but 'Grid'still felt like it was missing something. So he threw in the vocal loop samples. In the collab sense, The Groovy Bean is the only other song to rival this with the amount of direct interaction and progress between 'Grid' & I (though I credit that one as really being his song). And this one rivals The Funky Brew as my second favorite song we did! PS. Am stopping downloads because I discovered that the site alters the ID3 tags. Sorry bout that. Adios!
