Story behind the song
This song is a mistress telling the girlfriend/wife of a man that no matter what she does, the man's going to cheat and betray her. This song has a deeper meaning to me though. I wrote it because I feel that my father's work is his mistress and has taken him away from me. He's "mismatched" with me and should be with her (the mistress-business). In the song, his job is addressing me saying even if he wasn;t working, he would do something else to get away from me. No matter what I do, that's never going to change.
