amidst dusk, she wanders She would call out for me sometimes right when I can’t find my way through the haze right when I’m counting demons and imagine myself creeping down the cracks in the wall. She would speak of fragility of dreams and I would often wonder if my dreams had always been THE exception. I have violent dreams- one victory of Dream over this GREY world. She is speaking to me now beckoning cold waves. I feel her fingers wrapped around me I feel the bluntness in my chest

Story behind the song
Music written at a time when Briggs was listening to a lot of spanish soap music (Although the melody may not be an exact derivative of this genre, we're sure you'll hear traces of it.) Other inspiration/s for the music: The color rust-orange and the romance behind the flamenco. Words written by a good friend, Jon Juliano. Actual words for this song was originally written in tissue paper. Jon wrote the lyrics and melody for the song in 5 minutes. This is our first ever live recording at the Egg room.
Lyrics
FAILING DAYS Would you say you're sorry Or would you waste my time Talkin bout the silly games we play Suppose I said I couldn't work things out Would you still stay Oh Maybe we could try to find Some resolution to our Failing Days And if we could go back to Where it all began Would we find our way Will things ever get better Or would it stay the same Reflections of the past we used to share Suppose I said I couldn't work things out Would you still stay Oh Maybe we could try to find Some resolution to our Failing Days And if we could go back to where it all began Would we lose our way
