Country Music Performer/Songwriter/Mike Anderson, Country Drifter
I have formed many Country Bands in my musical career in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Washington. and most have been "Mike Anderson and the Country Drifters" and all have been Country Bands with great musicans. (Secret: I did play rock & Roll in my High School years 1964-1968). I love Country Music, it has a special place in my heart. Singer Songwriter of Country Music, just recenty recorded 4 of my songs and 7 other songs in Nashville. Label: Westwood Int'l. Records; Produced & Arranged by Lonnie Ratliff. I would encourage anyone who has a dream to do something with their music to, "Go For It". This has been such a fulfilling experience that I wish I would have pursued this when I was in my 20's. I have been married to an Angel for 34 wonderful years and she has kept me focused on this dream. As I see it: "Life is too short not to follow your dream". Hope you enjoy my music. I plan to keep on entertaining for many years down the road. Country Music is my passion.

Lyrics
Those Unemployment Blues - Author: Mike Anderson Intro….. Chorus I had those Unemployment Blues with nothing left to lose, But the time of day and the bills to pay with those Unemployment Blues Verse 1 Well I recall a time in this old world when everything looked blue Was about the time that I went on strike and I didn’t know what to do So I check around from place to place tryin to find work like I had But to my surprise the jobs weren’t there so I was down and feeling sad Chorus I had those Unemployment Blues with nothing left to lose, But the time of day and the bills to pay with those Unemployment Blues Lead guitar Chorus I had those Unemployment Blues with nothing left to lose, But the time of day and the bills to pay with those Unemployment Blues Verse 2 Then a friend of mine said take advantage of that unemployment stock Now it isn’t much but it’ll get you by like having a “Piece of the Rock” So I went right down to the local office and said – Son what do you do? Well I told him straight and he looked and said, don’t call us we’ll call you Chorus I had those Unemployment Blues with nothing left to lose, But the time of day and the bills to pay with those Unemployment Blues Lead guitar Verse 3 You know there’s certain jobs that are hard to find and mine is still at large Can you imagine tryin to find a job for a mechanic on Edsel cars But I’ve found some work a little different this time, now isn’t that just my luck? I quit fixin cars and went to work repairin Studebaker trucks Chorus X2 then tag the last line and out I had those Unemployment Blues with nothing left to lose, But the time of day and the bills to pay with those Unemployment Blues
