I am a pianist who also plays hurdy gurdy and I like to combine the two instruments (this is not possible on my own in real time!). Putting chordal piano music against droning gurdy melodies makes for an interesting combination, with or without the rhythmic buzz which has to be used with some care.

Story behind the song

One of my street gurdy pieces in C, as named by a passer-by.  It's been given the piano accompaniment treatment and a second gurdy line, but keeps the crude sound as it builds to the final stomping time through.
