My name is John Cusimano. I have been writing songs since the 1980's. Much of my writing has been done in collaboration with a long time friend, John Fracchia and recorded by our band, Loose Change (www.broadjam.com/loosechange). I also have collaborated with lyricists and other composers through an group of songwriters called the Songwriters Gang (www.songwritersgang.com). My music crosses a variety of different genres such as pop rock, ballads, country, classic rock, contemporary christian, etc. Although widely varied, my music always features solid, catchy melodies with strong hooks.

Lyrics
I Can Dream, Can’t I Copyright 1999 Toni Arthur You'll never give me what I want You'll never be the loving kind You'll never be the one who adores me But I can dream can't I How cruel to give me just a taste You turned this girl into a dreamer I don't have time to waste How cruel to make me a believer Chorus: Why must hearts break Why must eternity wait I put my heart out on the line You hung me out to dry But I can dream can't I? You'll never give me what I want You'll never be the one by my side You'll never be forever But I can dream can't I? How cruel to give me just a taste You turned this girl into a dreamer What makes you think I have time to waste How dare you make me a believer (Instrumental Section) You'll never be more than an addiction You'll never be more than an obsession You'll never be more than lust There's no love without trust I can live a lie till the day I die Or I can dream can't I?
