Acoustic blues
Ray and Mike formed Blues Crossing in early 2004. We write, record and produce all of our original music on a BOSS BR1600 digital recorder in Rays basement... so if you hear a dog bark or a cat meow now and then just consider it a happy accident! No animals were harmed in the process! www.garageband.com/bluescrossing www.betarecords.com/bluescrossing www.purevolume.com/bluescrossing www.myspace.com/bluescrossingrocks www.cyqo.com/bluescrossing www.youtube.com/bluescrossing (videos) ... and many many more... All the best and stay in tune, Mike & Ray

Story behind the song
Somewhat autobiographical story.
Lyrics
All alone on an evening train, fallin' out with the insane, destined for the bitter rain of Chicago... City streets that feel the pain, empty stomachs and empty trains, pullin' out in a bitter rain in Chicago... nowhere can a cold wind blow, nowhere can a story be told, nowhere can a dream unfold like in Chicago... Starin' out on the North East Shore, feelin' down and needin' more, than this old city can afford, Chicago... I started out somewhere near Homewood, Illinois, a man of eighteen just a crazy young boy, full of dreams and a singular ploy, get outta Chicago... chorus:
