Thought to be mermaids by ancient merchant seaman, the dugong would glide gracefully through the water flipping their whale-like tails in the air as they dove into the depths.
Story behind the song
Nature is an inspiration to a lot of people. I am no exception. I picture one of these giant sea mammals (the graceful dugong) swimming in the crystal clear water off of the coast of New Zealand eating some delicious sea-lettuce along the way.
