Mr. Jones starts what would be a typical day, until disaster strikes near the Grand Canyon!

Right, dudes! It's Jeff Parkes, world-reknown artist! And by world, he means his own little world, of course. This is mainly a site for him to share all his creative works with his friends, although he certainly wouldn't mind being picked up by a professional group. Jeff really needs an upgrade of equipment; as of now, a lot of his stuff sounds like cheesy MIDI. Listen that!

Story behind the song
It was inspired by a Calvin and Hobbes comic strip, and written for a songwriting class. I's likes it!
Lyrics
Typical day in suburbia, the clouds were floating by. Wolfing down his cornflakes, Mr. Jones adjusts his tie. Kissing his wife upon the cheek, he wishes her goodbye The car's in gear, he's outta here. Working 9 to 5. Arid Arizona, cactus by the score Eighty miles an hour on Highway 64 Deepest canyon in the world, people call it Grand Heading for his destiny, driving 'cross the land. (chorus) Oh, Mr. Jones, where are you? Your family's on the phone. The boss is mad, you're late again! You're never going home. Oh, Mr. Jones, now you're gone. Your head has caught on fire! Your middle section's sectioned off And you're wrapped around a tire! The car is working perfectly, then things start going wrong. The steering fails, the brakes lock up, the headlights stick on strong. Mister tries to gain control, but everything has died. Crashing through the guardrail, the car flies off the side! His only hope of surviving is to get that window down. Climb out, jump, grab a limb or rock before he hits the ground. Does he make it? Not a chance! He plunges to his doom! A fiery explosion! A thunderous KABOOOOOM!!! (repeat chorus) His neighbors hear the BOOM! across the canyon! They pile into a minivan Heading 'cross the desert to investigate What will happen to them? (repeat chorus 2x) You're in your funeral pyre!
