HI. We're Brian Mauer and Ben Verson. We've been writing, recording and performing music for over 35 years together. What do we call it? HMMMMMMMMMM, we're not sure. We incorporate any and all styles. We hope you will find that we have succeeded in homogenizing a unique style. Influences range from classic rock (Beatles, Who, Zeppelin) to Folk, slip in a bit of bluegrass, and an equal amount of metal, and you get...Something, without a name.

Lyrics
Twisted in the wind of a storm so oddly placed. From ear to ear, I try to steer a straight and narrow race, A straight and narrow race Depression marked as insecure pressed against the keel And no misdirected compass can explain the way I feel, Explain the way I feel. The clichés that analogize themselves with all despair Screaming as they agonize, and wish they weren’t there, I wish they weren’t there. I can’t recant imaginary fears that never leave, Uninvited or impressed and waiting to deceive. Alone, all alone within this valley A mass for those who try to dream away the tears A mass for those who try to dream away the tears. Peaked and visionary dreams dance unattended halls The smack of answers always seems upended in the falls, Upended in the falls An unrequited battery of fantasies abound Initiate the flattery of desiring unfound, Desiring unfound. In their eyes and minds, a constant tension in redress Absolve, for just the moment all the longings we confess. (Bridge) A spirit beats away en masse. Weary hearts that gather thorns No mourning strong enough to feel, No feeling strong enough to mourn. Lightning cracks within my mind. Storms cast low upon the field Not in fires, embers find No cause for fears that will not yield. Alone, all alone within this valley I ask forgiveness of the sky, and dream a way from here I ask forgiveness of the sky, and dream a way from here. Maybe it should never be, and peace is simply slow. The measured pulse of drums will call the archered string to bow, The archered strings to bow. The songs retained as holy, sown, will play aloud and clear, And fade the passions, only known As imaginary fears, Imaginary fears.
