Story behind the song
This song is a narrative love story about two people who have a short encounter with each other. They fall in love with each other - but they both know that it's come at a time when their lives are taking them apart in distance. So cherishing the short amount of time they have with each other will last them forever - not forgetting this moment together. I tried to paint a cold picture with the title and also with the acoustic flavoring of the music. Originally the song had an electric guitar solo and more driving sound...but my vision for the tune did not fit. So my brother re-recorded an acoustic solo, recorded the drums with me using "rutes" instead of sticks, and my dad added a banjo track which made it perfect.
