I use multi trak recording to play all the instruments and construct a one man band. I play Christian Country Pop Rock Folk Electronic music.
Thanks to all the soundclick fans. It's great to have a group of fans who are musicians themselves and always ready to encourage everyone who is practicing hard to get and give the most from their music. Story behind the song
i'm trying to get a more professional, polished sound in my music. My live drumming is too sloppy so i am programming the drums. Raw synth sounds are cheesy so im processing everything. The bass and drums form the framework of the music so im trying to get the balance right between them, and with the rest of the instruments, which are panned to their different places. When using midi sequencing, the pitch and mod wheels, velocity, articulation, and filter cutoff and resonance knobs can be used to bring life to tracks that would other wise be dull. This is also my first use of a virtual synth, the opening sound. It is a square wave with a filter sweep with FM harmonics added by the user envelope and an LFO modulating the filter cutoff frequency plus some portamento and vibrato.
