Building my own amp has inspired me to play a lot more.
I recently acquired a Chicago Iron Octavian octafuzz guitar pedal. The sounds were so funky I wrote a tune for it.
I was at the rehearsal spot and decided to demo it to some friends in their room down the hall.
I started off demoing My Good Friends Jordan BossTone fuzz clone and then the Octavian.
I started playing a couple of bars when the guitar player jumped behind the drums and then his brother on the bass.
We played that way for about a minute until the drummer decided he wanted in so they switched instruments and it turned into a 20 minute Jam. We rarely play together but it sounded like we were in a band for years.
The Jam was recorded so I took it home and made sense out of it. Pluged in my guitar along with the pedal straight into a Line6 GuitarPort and using RiffWorks as the scratch pad...
Hope you like the sample...
I'd like to put words to it and give it more character...enjoy
peace
