Lyrics
Dance Gypsy Lady (Ed Rhoades & Joe Gaughan) The morning sun has turned another page and the smile I held inside is dying There’ll be no curtain calls on this stage and the ending’s bound to leave them crying All the ships have left the harbor, all the dreams have had their chance There is laughter and there is music but the gypsies refuse to dance Won’t you dance gypsy lady … send your sparkling smile my way? Won’t you dance gypsy lady …is there something I can say? Won’t you dance… gypsy lady? The night time sky is lit by the moon Somehow I keep on trying If she returns please make it soon my heart can’t keep on lying All the ships have left the harbor, all the dreams have had their chance There is laughter and there is music but the gypsies refuse to dance Won’t you dance gypsy lady … send your sparkling smile my way? Won’t you dance gypsy lady …is there something I can say? Won’t you dance… gypsy lady? Won’t you dance gypsy lady … send your sparkling smile my way? Won’t you dance gypsy lady …is there something I can say? Won’t you dance… gypsy lady? 2005 © Ed Rhoades and Joe Gaughan
