Christian means Christ-like, if your behavior is not like christ how can you be christian? I'm sorry but once saved always saved is false. If you claim to be a christian and you cuss like a sailor, if you die you're going to the same hell everybody else is going to if they don't get saved in the first place. the bible talks about not letting filthy communication come out your mouth, therefore if you're supposed to be a christian and your talk is filthy...hello? I know that some of you believe that if you're saved once, you don't have to get saved again. Let me put a damper on that. I got saved back in the summer of 2003. After a message by Evangelist Joyce Rodgers, I went up for altar call. One of the ministers in the congregation helped lead me to Christ, where at the time I thought would be for life. I went back to Summer School and passed with flying colors. Then the real test came when my 11th grade year started, and I failed miserably. I found myself hardly thinking about God, and started watching the stuff my friends were watching. I knew it was wrong but I gave into temptation because I thought that I was stronger than I really was. Then it came to the point to where I was lying to myself saying I was still saved. I knew I wasn't. Then came one Sunday morning last year, January 17th. Minister Middleton called altar call and I was just sitting on the drums. He called me and the rest of the young people up the altar to get prayed for. I happened to get Mother Dillard and Mother Graham. The started clapping their hands praising God and praying for me. I started crying. After they finished, I felt a change in me. I looked at my father, who is my pastor, and said "I want to be saved." You can't tell me once saved always saved is true, I know for a fact that it's not. Here's one more thing. If you're cussing and all that and still trying to lead people to Christ, then guess what you're not a christian, you're just a hypocrite. Let me give the definition of hypocrite. Hypocrite is somebody who gives a false appearance of having admirable principles, beliefs, or feelings. For some of us, we're going to have to agree to disagree and I understand that, but hopefully I got through to somebody on here.
