folk christian praise
Artist picture
Folk and rock-inspired praise music. Not Christian sneaker commercials, the real thing, straight from the heart.
John is a solo act, but he doesn't sing so low you can't hear him, which is a good thing because he has a tremendous voice and the love of God in his heart which clearly shows through in his music. John is also the official primary lead singer in Gamma Leonis, whose songs can also be found on Soundclick. This page will showcase John's own original tunes, which I am arranging, producing and playing on for him--proudly and joyfully. His attitude and his music cut through the politics and infighting so common to religion these days, and get to the reality of spirituality, expressing an honest, straightforward commitment to the God he believes in that is both unashamed and inclusive. He signs his e-mails "In His Service," and he means it sincerely. He also signs them "I will sing until I croak," though he's much more Portugese than French. Go figure. Regardless, he's a lovable guy and a fabulous singer. Give his tunes a listen, you won't be sorry. You might be just a little happier. - Dave, Gamma Leonis

Lyrics
Step out of the world and into God’s Word, No need to wipe your feet. Welcome to the living room of God’s love, Your every need He will meet. Chorus Delight in God’s love and care for you, Climb into His arms and be of good cheer. It’s pure pleasure in the presence of God, Joy and peace you’ll find here. So, come as you are anytime you want; It’s never an imposition. Only a prayer away God is always home, Your Father’s ready to listen. One beautiful day that trumpet will sound, We’ll see Jesus Christ face to face. Always looking for the day to go home, To see my Dad’s glorious place. But until then…(1st verse again thenchorus) I Thessalonians 4:13-18
