Story behind the song

In the musical "DANIEL - WATCH OUT!" there are 4 exiled Jews who are faithful to their God: Daniel and his 3 friends. There are also 4 who are unfaithful: Jezekiah and 3 friends.

Lyrics

(DANCE MUSIC BEGINS…..) 
LEONARDO:	(off stage as an announcer) That’s right ladies and gentlemen, it’s a dance ‘til you drop contest. (DANIEL, JEZEKIAH AND COMPANIONS look up and around to see where the announcer’s voice is coming from) On your left we have Jezekiah’s team, whose strength is from eating garlic snails, followed by steak in a garlic sauce and served with garlic mushrooms, and garlic ice cream, and you thought lions had bad breath. On the right is Daniel’ team whose strength is just from vegetables and apparently from their God. So the contest should soon be over. So are the contestants ready? Take your places and go…..

	(DANIEL’S TEAM and JEZEKIAH’S TEAM dance on their respective sides of the stage. JEZEKIAH’S TEAM eventually flounder as they find it difficult dancing with all that food inside them. They find it difficult to stand during the part where the instruments sound like they’re laughing whilst DANIEL’S TEAM dance on and laugh at them miming to the music. JEZEKIAH’S TEAM eventually collapse before the announcer’s next speech)

LEONARDO:	(still off stage) And the Winner of the Dance ‘til you drop contest, to our surprise, is Daniel’s team, who have been dancing for forty days, seven hours and fourteen minutes, apparently with only their God for strength. What a God!
(Music unexpectedly begins again – and faster - and DANIEL’S TEAM dance until the end, with the EVERYONE ELSE, except JEZEKIAH’S TEAM who are in a heap on the floor)
