Greetings All, Welcome to The Dawg Pound, I'm Bob Johnson, saxophonist for the cyber group known as "The Funkdawgs". Over the last 6 years we've put out 3 , produced 5 educational playalong projects for Music Minus One (, , , , ), appeared on 3 CD's in and more recently won a contest at as the best online virtual band. However, in addition to our regular lineup we have had the pleasure of collaborating with many other talented musicians. That's what The Dawg Pound is all about, a place to showcase these other cats that run with the Dawgs. Among others, The Funkdawgs have collaborated with:

Story behind the song
Lineup: guitar - Wayne Eagles, bass - Bill Lawrence, drums - Filippo Bertacche, keys - Kyle Whitlock, sax - Bob Johnson A musician for 30 years and a professional guitar instructor for 20 years, Wayne Eagles performs and records both as leader and sideman in a variety of musical styles and ensembles. He has music-related BA, BA Hons, and MA degrees and is an Endorsing Artist for a wide-variety of musical instrument companies, including: G&L Guitars, DiMarzio Pickups, Victoria Amps, Eminence Speakers, Area 51, Effectrode, RonSound Vintage Effects and Intellitouch Tuners. Although currently instructing a wide-range of styles, Wayne was the first person to teach rock guitar in a Canadian University. He has been a Guitar Performance Instructor at Carleton University's School for Studies in Art and Culture (SSAC: Music) since September 1992. Wayne maintains a busy private music-teaching schedule, does independent concert promotion, and acted as Concert Manager for the Carleton University Committee on Cultural Activities (UCCA) from June 1993 until April 2002. Among the events Wayne has promoted are performances and/or clinics with The Dave Holland Quintet, The Mike Stern Band, and The Dave Weckl Band.
