Frank Whitenack has been performing for well over twenty years. Frank has played with a diverse group of musician and has worked on many different types of projects though out his career. He has written a sound track for a documentary about High Springs, FL that aired on PBS WUFT back in 1985. He performed in the medieval fair for five years, three of which he was the singing bartender. Played lead guitar for Bo Diddley for a show in 1998. He was the lead guitar player in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1999. He was the lead singer for Side Effects, a local band in Gainesville. He most recently joined up with the Radio Friendly Band. Frank plays the music he grew up on. Frank is a child of the sixties and his song choices reflect that. He was raised in Starke, FL. After graduating from Bradford High School Frank has experienced the musical scenes of New Orleans and Tampa before moving to the Gainesville area in 1980. He has been working for the state of FL since moving to this area and uses his music to help the clients he works with. He loves to play and plays what he loves, so come hear him.
