punk acoustic folk pop punk wishing well collective
Folk punk with a pop punk edge.
I started this sometime in 2004, but I didn't do anything with it until November 2006. I write songs about anything. Some of them aren't true, and some of them are my feelings about some, more or less, political issues.

Story behind the song
If only whistling could smash the state.
Lyrics
We can't ever have any fun anymore. I get yelled at everytime I go to the store, all because I wear angry political shirts. You'd better watch out, I'm on "Terrorist Alert!" Everyone says it must've started with my folks, they didn't stop me from making "insensative" jokes. But, that's what they always say about the youth, for some reason it starts at home and that they say is proof. We can't even play cops and robbers anymore, because everyone's scared when we are at war. I can't even sing aobut the problems of today without everyone saying, "Just look the other way." I don't wanna keep not having fun anymore because of everything that's happened since we've gone to 'war.' I don't wanna stay inside all day long being told not to worry about what has gone wrong. All I wanna do is play all those youthful games, the ones I would play every single day, but I can't because it'd be "too immature." That's exactly what I'm called when I'm at the store. chorus My brother and I were playing with our water guns when the lady next door came out and dialed 9-1-1. She then went and told the cops we sympathize with Al-Queda and dispense nothing but anti-American propagandha.
