punk acoustic folk pop punk wishing well collective
Folk punk with a pop punk edge.
I started this sometime in 2004, but I didn't do anything with it until November 2006. I write songs about anything. Some of them aren't true, and some of them are my feelings about some, more or less, political issues.

Story behind the song
It's true. I write stupid songs.
Lyrics
I write stupid songs. Matty Pop Chart sang to me, as I walked in the snow (It’s blowing really hard and my feet are wet and cold). I’ve got Joe Meno in my backpack. I can’t wait to re-read that. As I walk past that snowman, the temperature’s really low, I can’t help but notice the snowball you’re about to throw. I hope you know that this means war, possibly love and more. You quickly ran away, but I remember the color of the scarf you wore that day. One week later the sun was shining, and my chances of finding you were declining. I didn’t know what I should do, but Captain Chaos gave me the idea to write a song for you. I’d hoped you’d hear me singing it from my room, but part of me felt that it was foolish to assume. But I wrote it any way, and I sang it to myself every single day. And then one day you showed up (I couldn’t have imagined it any other way). I didn’t know what needed to be said, so I pulled out my guitar and sang this song for you instead. And then I looked into your eyes while we listened to that song by Blink 182 called “Red Skies.” Chords: First verse: D-G-D-G-A-G-A-G x 2 Chorus Part 1: D-Bm-A5-G5 Chorus Part 2: B5-B5-A5-G5 x2 Second Verse: D-A-Bm-G
