Mike B :(1979- ) I have had a varied musical career having been in bands since the late seventies, starting off with Guillotine, a psuedo punk band, and further on with The Circuits, Hard Times, Smile On Impact, and The Scream . Today, I'm a part time solo artist recording from my home studio in Hong Kong, which I caringly call 'the cupboard'. I also use the generic name 'Xoom Klub' for anything that detracts from my usual style which gives me the option to experiment with my music.

Story behind the song
A young lady I know called 'Queenie Kan' convinced me to tell you all the story behind the song, so here it is: When I was young, so much younger than today (line from 'Lennon & McCartney's' Help), I had a summer job working at a T-Shirt printers. There was a window just in front of my desk where I used to see this vision of beauty walk past at the same time every morning and evening. I had a real crush on her, and I so much wanted to ask her out, but, like many of us out there, I just didn't have the courage to step outside and confront her. This went on for weeks, until one day we were outside preparing for a promotion and there she was, walking towards me. I had dreamed of this moment. I took a deep breath and moved in her direction. Our eyes met, I opened my lips, the words came out. 'Excuse me, ' I said nervously, ' I have seen you everyday for weeks, and I think you are so pretty...umm...would you like to go out for dinner one evening?' 'I don't think so!' She snapped back. ' I don't think my boyfriend would like it very much. Now go away!' That was the end of that. My dream was shattered, but not completely. I still have the memory of that dream, which has now been immortalized in this song. I hope you enjoy it.
