NUMBER 1 ON NEIL YOUNG'S WEB CHART WITH "TAKE YOUR WAR AND STICK IT UP YOUR ARSE" To all those who have been voting/listening - a great big thank you. We are hoping to use this to launch a publicity campaign in the UK media. Let's also not forget that, more important than songs going up charts, we can get this war ended as soon as possible. Sollox and The Spooners have been making music for a long time, but the exposure that the www can give them has inspired them to new efforts. The band are . . . Billy Sollox - vocals, writer, arranger. “Guitar” Gill Bates Snr Acoustic six-string, 12-string and electric guitars, backing vocals Chuck Babbage - Keyboards, piano, percussion, backing vocals Dick Mell - Keyboards, Guitars, Saxophone Job Stevens - Drums, percussion & backing vocals Lee Bernerstim - Bass, backing vocals Little Gilly Bates - Electric guitars Sunil “Sunny” Lavrot - Piano, keyboards Suze Konrad - Backing Vocals, percussion

Story behind the song
I'm sure one of the few songs in the world to include the words "bleating" and "bellyaching"; two words which ALWAYS remind me of my friend Jabeen Mughal. What they bellyaching for Jabs? I'll give 'em something to bellyache about!
Lyrics
Foxes In The Henhouse Foxes in the henhouse Rats have overrun the barn There’s chickens running the kitchen Tell me who's running the farm? Patients run the asylum They’re well drugged and they’re well meant Tell me who’s running the country? Madmen in government. Satan’s in the pulpit Poor Jesus, the boy's on trial Choirboys abused by preachers Can someone tell me why or how? Laughter’s coming from graveyards The laugh tracks on overtime Business chairmen steal your pension They steal it but it’s not a crime Singers singing sad songs Moaning on and on about the war When will they stop their bleating? What they belly-aching for? Foxes in the henhouse Rats have overrun the barn There’s chickens running the kitchen Tell me who's running the farm?
