My name is Renny J, and I produce and write music for film & television as well as for upcoming artists!
My name is Renny J (full name is Reunald C. P. Jones III) from Brooklyn, NY, and some folks consider me one of the premier accomplished bass players of recent years. My grandfather & father (Reunald Sr. & Jr. respectively) were well-known & accomplished trumpet players. Reunald Sr. (Jonesy) played with Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Quincy Jones, James Brown's band & Nat King Cole. Reunald Jr. (my dad Bo) played w/ James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr., Motown's Funk Brothers & other well-known artists. You can hear his signature trumpet every time you hear the Sanford & Son & Ironside theme song. Because of my unique playing style, I've recorded w/ Parliament (Clones of Dr. Funkenstein album), Donna Summer, Toni Braxton, and many other artists. In addition to playing bass guitar, I also play rhythm guitar, drums, and keyboards.

Story behind the song
Lindsay Park is the Co op where I grew up. This song typifies the original Lindsay Day, which is when all the original people that grew up there come back once a year and set up BBQ's in the park and have fun and mingle with one another. This song reminds me of that day and makes me feel the energy of it.
