Story behind the song
The Coypu is a large South American rodent, rather like a very large water rat. Shy, playful, altogether a pleasure to watch swimming through the mill pond at the Ginals mill, and in the water basin at the spring house, and frolicking on the banks, and basking in the spring sun. But, sadly, on the wrong continent! introduced throughout streams in southern France.
