A new version of Cardboard Box in the Alley (my favorite Sensless Budd song). If Laurie Anderson was a man and (s)he played acoustic folk, (s)he might sound like this! (Recorded for the Dreamsville Valentine Project)
acoustic experimental comedy philosophical

Always improvisational with more than a few dashes of Humor thrown in. Sometimes Socio-political and usually philosophical. A generous mix of experimental, blue

Story behind the song
Cardboard Box in the Alley is always spontaneous and the lyrics are different for every version. Even the melody tends to go in diverse and unusual ways. On Sunday Feb.11, I called Jahn in Arkansas and asked him to record a version of the Box for the Dreamsville Valentine Project. It arrived in my "box" Monday night; Tuesday I added a guitar track; in keeping with the spirit of the song we each did our track in just one take. I did however do some slight post-production (mostly cut bits here and there, of my guitar)
