I play mostly alone but also play with bands we form for special concerts
Since I retired in 1996 I took up writing, playing and recording music as a hobby. I play piano, guitar, bass, drums, harmonica and tenor sax reasonably well but not great. I enjoy all genres of music.

Story behind the song
I was asked to write a theme song for this town for their sesquicentenniel celebrations.
Lyrics
The piper, a man or ghost, He wails his song, a lonely post. The lighthouse, it becons you, This beacon guides, friendships renew. CHorus: Come home, this harbor's safe, We welcome you, only a stranger once. Come march with us, the pipers lead, to Kincardine. The sand, on beaches white, The water's clear, the skies are bright. The fish, are jumping high, The deer run wild, our smiles are wide. Chorus: This town, has a pot of gold, It sits within, the young and old. We want, you back today, To share our hopes, see children play. Chorus: Now join us, in our song, To welcome back, souls from afar. Let's march, let laughter ring, Throughout this town, with friends and kin. Chorus:
