With my TV dinner, I’m feeling such a sinner, watching babies get blown away
Throw the TV screen, out of my dream
Nations are fighting, writers are writing, we’ve all got something to say
And so do I, so I may as well try
We are so much in pain, playing loss and gain, a runner in this rat race
It’s all out there, so they declare
But the writings on the wall, for those who hear the call, it’s time to show your face
Love’s inside, In the Light that shines.
I’m quoting from the prophets, trying ease my losses but my armour is wearing thin
This battleground, it’s getting me down
Am, I with the solution, or part of the problem, need to find the key to sing
And sing it loud, stand up proud !
