The pen name's Severus aka the Ravenous Scribe, but I go by other aliases i.e. Solace, R. Scribe I'm an aspiring emcee/spoken word artist. I find inspiration in anything that catches my attention. Hip Hop's one of the things I love in life. But I also listen and gain inspiration from many other different types of music/genres, such as Reggae, Classical, the Oldies, World Music, etc. All in all Hip Hop has a special place in my heart. I always had a penchant for the arts since I was little. It's only natural that I continue it. My homeland is the Philippines, but I live in Toronto(T-dot!!!) now. I rep both to the FULLEST. [I've taken a brief hiatus, been quite busy over these months]

Story behind the song
Listen to it first... Its a personification of the Philippines as a woman. A Kundiman is a traditional Tagalog song, but I put a Hip Hop twist to it. It may sound like a love song to a woman, but it really displays the writer's undying love for his homeland. *I wrote it & produced it.
