A song about romance that starts fast and fades. The girl is holding on and the guy never wanted to be that involved in the first place.

I have been a musician for longer than I care to admit. I first started using my talents to praise God who gave them to me. I was about 9. In my late teens I got more in to praising me. It's taken a long time, a lot of wrong turns and detours. But God has been patient and loving with me while waiting for my return. I am now the worship leader at Central Christian Church in Danville, IL. Once again praising God with what He gave me to praise Him with. I had cancer in my right tonsil that was diagnosed in April 2005. Too much second-hand smoke, and some first-hand, had taken it's toll on my body. You need to know that this is not what brought me back to Jesus. My faith was already strong when this occurred. I was at peace with the diagnosis because I knew I was in the hands of the Great Physician. I can only thank you, Jesus. I will be posting some older songs I've done through the years and some new ones I'm working on. I'm currently attemping to write worship songs. This is a new task for me. I don't feel I can write anything that's even close to being worthy. Instrumental seem to be coming to me much easier. We'll see where it all goes from here. God bless you thanks for stopping by and checking this out. george

Story behind the song
Song written around 1985 with my friend Bill Walsh in McCook, Nebraska. We walked around town all day playing our electrics with no amps. This was the end result. This is when we were in our big Steve Wariner phase. We were both in Freddy And The Freeloaders which traveled the US & Canada. Freddy is my Dad. www.myspae.com/freddyandthefreeloaders
Lyrics
Too many words bein' spoken Too many hearts bein' broken Sometimes we fade in to the night Until we finally get it right Just another player, in the game Sometimes losin' sometimes winnin' We can't seem to break these chains And I just want to make you see CH: It's just a Circumstance Romance But your tryin' to make it so much more I hope you find what your lookin' for Don't try to find it in me Our passion died out long ago On heart, it just quit carin' But still we fade in to the night Tryin' to make like it's alright You know I never loved you quite that way Those feelin's they really scare me And I'm still tryin' to break these chains 'Cause I've just got to make you see Chorus Lead Chorus
