An interesting trio (me, myself & I) collaborated one night after tiring of previous attempts to find backing harmonists.
"I am Everyman, and the things inside of me are in everyman. They just vary in degree. I'm a poet, I'm a pauper, I'm a preacher, I'm a king. I am Everyman and a part of everything." Kentucky Dave '93

Story behind the song
I listened to a news story about the lives of children in the many war zones around the world. Too many children's lives are ruined due to religious zealots waging war in the name of their brand of god.
Lyrics
A Child’s Cry David Trabue 2006 He might be in the skies above or in the deep blue sea. He might be heard in a singing bird, or the humming of a bee. I’ve wondered if the tales are true and here’s the reason why. I’ve never met a god as yet, who wants a child to cry. There’s stories told in books of old from ages back in time Of how the life of man began, the reason and the rhyme. It makes me wonder who it is that thinks he knows just why? They’ve never met a god, I bet, who wants a child to cry. In every corner of the world from people white and brown A tale is told how life unfolds and how it all went down. There seems to be a missing piece in what we do and say. The cries are heard above the word, around the world today. They call for peace and wage a war to save us in his name. But who it is they wage it for has yet to be explained. Just who is right & who is wrong and who determines why Was never met by god I bet, who wants a child to cry. Tag: I’ve never met a god as yet, who wants a child to cry.
