About Mary Ann and The Cosmic Harp -- ==================================== Born and raised in Southern California, Mary Ann learned to play Celtic harp as a teenager. Following a dazzling career as an actress and producer, Mary Ann returned to the harp as an instrument for the praise and worship of God. Two years of work in the recording studio has resulted in her best work yet. Please enjoy these examples of her work. [PS - Mary Ann did not approve of the word 'dazzling' to describe her career in this profile, but to my knowledge that is accurate - Webmaster.] ==================================== Mary Ann's last release, "Cosmic Christmas", sold out within ten days of it's release in 2006. A follow up album is planned for release in the Christmas season of 2007.

Story behind the song
"Think of the awe that you feel looking out from the highest mountain... " After many performances, the time came to complete the arrangement in the studio. This one was actually an exceptional amount of work to complete. But in the end I am quite happy with the way one can get lost in it's chant-like repetitions and variations.
