Story behind the song

Initially started sometime in '01 with the drums & bass. The beats really reminded me of Daft Punk for some reason (they were kept on this version). The bass sounded alot like Depeche Mode (which was kept on this version, in part). I began to remix it in early '04 and only got up to about 60 or 70 perent done. After a while I picked it up again in August & September of '05. Creating what you hear today. 
The pic is a bit deceptive because when I started this and all throughout the process I had driving in my car at night in mind. After a brief gunning of the engine to where I could let my foot off of the gas.
