Story behind the song
Deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains of days past, there was a young group of college boys called the 'Selective Service Band'. These 7 lads made a pledge to grow their hair long, abuse legal substances, and play music for their college compatriots. In 1974 they taped a few songs in the basement of a Virginia Tech frat house. For want of a better term, here is one of the more cohesive endeavors. Bob, Dave, William, Don, Bill, TommyEarl, and .......I can't remember the other guys name.
