Story behind the song
Tim & I wrote this song about how even when you are feeling so down & out all that you really need to lift you up is to open your Bible & realize the hope that we have because Jesus died for our sins
Lyrics
"Life Is In The Vine"
©2005 Tim Massey/ Greg Perryman
There's a place I know that I go, where my heart is sad and weak
So lonely there in my despair, and my spirit starts to sink
Then I call on your name just like before, and it gives me peace of mind
Keeps me running back to Jesus everytime
'Cause Life is in the Vine, and peace and joy are mine
And when my cup is running dry, He fills it everytime
There's a place I know where we all can go, admission there is free
The price was paid in full that day He died upon that tree
What we couldn't do for ourselves, He came to freely give His life
and laid it down so we could truely live
'Cause life is in the vine, and peace and joy are mine
and when my cup is running dry, He fills it everytime
