Synthesizer solo that just sort of happened during a rehearsal room jam. I love the sensitivity of all the playing and the dynamics of this performance.

Neo-garage, punk-modernist, jazz-wave, thrash-meandering.
This band was started to provide an antidote/alternative to the formulaic, radio-friendly dross being churned out as 'opium for the masses' and also to pay homage to the bands we really admire for their willingness to ignore conventional boundaries, their humour and their creative stylings.

Story behind the song
Someone brought an old analogue synthesizer (not much more than a few voltage-controlled oscillators with a primitive keyboard and some knobs to control it all) to a couple of our rehearsals back when we had a full band. This chord sequence of mine had been 'roughed out' at an earlier rehearsal with Gary 'G-Man' Elsworth playing the synth part and Michael Glover on drums. For this definitive version Jean-Paul handled the synth with 'G-Man' back on the drums. The bass was provided by Bruce Conway (a superb player) on his trusty Fender Jazz Bass. Everything was improvised barring my basic chord structure.
