Story behind the song
I studied music at Royal Holloway College, London University at the same time as Martin and Sarah. After graduation, they performed as a duo and commissioned this composition from me. They performed the premier at St Albans in 1987. This is the first movement of a three movement work. The second and third movements can be heard on the album 'A Question of Expression'.
