Dir en grey is a Japanese rock band formed in 1997. While the lineup has remained constant since the group's inception, numerous stylistic changes have made their music's genre difficult to determine (though it's generally considered to be a form of rock music). Originally part of Japan's visual kei movement, Dir en grey has opted for less flamboyant attire in recent years. 2007: THE MARROW OF A BONE The band recently announced plans for their first headlining tour in North America, starting on February 1, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Support bands will be Bleed the Dream and Fair to Midland.[3][4] Dir en grey's sixth LP, THE MARROW OF A BONE, will be released on February 7, 2007.[5]
