Story behind the song
My momma always warned me about the streets, she warned me never to get into them and did everything possible to keep me out of them. Everyone in the projects, or who is probably in the streets probably heard the same thing. For me it’s the fact that I chased it for a little bit, and pulled away just in time, now I’m back to represent my boys who still getting it how they live.
