It’s time to prepare your song and email it to us. Your song must be in mp3 format, encoded at 128 bits with an audible click track beginning 2 measures before the start. When we recieve your Session Form and MP3 we will generate a paypal bill for the services you specified. You do not need to have a paypal account to send us a secure payment with a major credit card through the paypal website. It's fast, easy and completely secure! Any questions please email us at neil@marathonroadent.com FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP THE GUITARIST GIVE ME HIS BEST PERFORMANCE? If your mp3 track is in time, has an audible click track (starting 2 measures before the first beat of the first measure of the song) and you have communicated your vision adequately on the “Session Form” our pro guitarists will have no problem giving you exceptional performances. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY FINAL TRACKS TO BE DELIVERED? There are several purchase options that will determine when your tracks will be completed. From the time you fill out the Session Form and send us your scratch/reference MP3 files it could be anywhere between seven and twenty-one days before you receive your final guitar tracks. There are a number of factors that will determine the speed of your project, including; The proper preparation of your scratch/reference tracks , the complexity of your song and number of requested guitar tracks and your location if you would like your final guitar tracks mailed to you on CD (we also offer an express option which can get you your tracks much faster). CAN I DOWNLOAD MY FINAL GUITAR TRACKS? Yes. You will have the option to either download your final guitar tracks via yousendit.com or have them sent to you on CD. These will be very big files, so only select the download option if you have a fast internet connection. HOW BIG ARE MY FINAL GUITAR TRACKS GOING TO BE? Each guitar track may be as small as 10 megs or as large as 100 megs depending on the length of your song and if you chose “stereo” or “mono” tracking. If you have a slow internet connection don't even consider the download option we offer. Simply receive the standard delivery of your tracks on CD through USPS. CAN I TALK TO THE GUITARIST ABOUT MY PROJECT ON THE PHONE? Yes. If you have questions before or after you start a project, you can setup a time to call our studio and talk with the guitarist. We would be happy to talk with you about your project. You must first email us to setup a time for you to call. Note we do not make any outgoing calls, and do not have a toll-free number. Email us at neil@marathonroadent.com to setup a telephone-meeting. CAN I USE THE FINAL GUITAR TRACKS ON MY OTHER PROJECTS? Yes. You are licensing the guitar tracks we send you, and you can use them in any way in your own personal songs and productions. Note the following... You can NOT distribute the guitar tracks in ANY form unless they are part of your own songs/productions. You can NOT sell or give the guitar tracks, in any format, to anyone unless they are mixed with your own songs/productions. You can NOT edit or mix the guitar tracks into any kind of loops or samples that will be used for resale or distribution of any kind. WHAT IF I DECIDE TO ADD ADDITIONAL GUITAR TRACKS TO A SONG AT A LATER DATE? No problem, the reduced pricing per song will still be in effect. IS MY SONG COPYRIGHT PROTECTED? Like anyone who writes a song, it's up to you to make sure your artistic works are copyright protected. This is a simple process, and there are a few different ways to cover yourself. Also keep in mind only the guitarist and engineer will hear your music, and we will never disclose any information you give us without your consent. WHO WILL HEAR MY SONG AFTER I EMAIL MY SCRATCH/REFERENCE MP3 TRACKS? Only the guitarist and engineer will hear your songs/files. Your songs, along with any info you have given us, will be kept strickly confidential, and never given to any third-parties. DO I NEED TO CREDIT THE GUITARIST FOR HIS WORK? This is not necessary. Although, it would be nice if you give credit to the guitarist (we decide which of our talented staff guitarists is most suited to the song after we hear it) and include the following address... www.LiveStudioGuitars.com. WILL I GET TO PREVIEW AND APPROVE THE FINAL GUITAR TRACKS BEFORE THEY ARE SENT TO ME? Yes. After we complete your session we will send you an MP3 file for you to preview. If you like the take, the final guitar tracks will be sent to you. If you would like the guitarist to do another session, with any changes you would like to make, there will be a small additional charge. WHAT FORMAT WILL MY FINAL GUITAR TRACKS BE IN? All the individual tracks we send you will be recorded to WAV or AIFF files (depending on what you select in the Session Form) at the sample-rate and bit-depth of your choice.
