Born in December of 1987, Joseph Grillo a.k.a Logik a.k.a Logik the SickNess was not the person you all think you see or know. Better yet, the story goes down a different road. Death was the in the near future for this newborn baby as he had only seen his first glance of light. 90% chance of death and a slim 10% of life was what Logik had going for himself. An extremely rare and hidden Gastro-Intestinal disorder caused his intestines to form outside of his body...you get it? He spent the first six months of his life in a hospital until he went hom and was fed with feeding tubes for quite some time. Now growing up in Staten Island, New York, people say many things judging this young, white kid who found a passion for producing for and rapping. They dont know that this will take Logik to the Promiseland soon...and I'm not talking 'bout little bo peep ;). Hardships came and went, especially through all the fights, pipes, bats, ..., and other things. They one thing changes your life forever though, a drastic action. Logik had to learn that the hard way because he stood up for someone he loved. A real man would do that, and that is why Logik writes about real things and produces real deal shit and no garbage.
