Knowing that when all the news cameras and tv crews left New Orleans, that the battle for that good old southern way of life would be still a tremendous journey, I decided to write this song to inspire someone who might need that extra lift because i too use to live in New Orleans for a few years and i was lucky enough no to be there when katrina hit but not lucky enough to save any of the belongings of my house and even though i was not born in the N.O its culture and its people grew on me to the point where i feel like I feel in love with this great city of life ....so if you know someone from New Orleans who needs that extra lift right now send them this song and tell them i said heads up!!!!
