Everyone looks at at a volcano and says something along the lines of 'How pretty' Volcanos are not to be taken lightly. Another fine performance by dr Hoos live at the Hatchery Lawn

Blues based mayhem with a twist of dirt
Harpman64 is an off shoot of Dr Hoos Blues band. I welcome the opportunity to push the limits of blues and drag it screaming into the 21st century. Blues is a feeling. Not some little ,cute 12 bar piece of treacle. You need to be in the bottom of the barrel before you can feel the weight of life.

Story behind the song
It is all very easy to write pretty songs about landscape features. Volcano man is about our Taranaki. Strong, aggressive, beautiful and deadly. This Maunga guards us, gives our land life and yet has the capability to blow us away. John Cooksley (Guitar),Steve Duffles (drums/percussion) Matt Sturgess (Bass) and Me Live and Raw from outta the shed
