The Message Was Inside
Driving through my town last week
I saw the strangest sight
A building long abandoned
And letters framed in light
It piqued my curiosity
I had to stop and see
What was going on here
And was it meant for me
The sign said it was broken

The building had been gutted
So there would be more room
The lights were shining brightly
To chase away my gloom
I looked at the crucifix
And saw the sign read true
I had finally made it home
