Recording music is a passion and a blast...and enjoyable work. I think my songs represent my passion of music itself and the good but honest things in life.

Story behind the song
What motivated you to write this song? What is it about? Any interesting side-notes? aaaa...I like to write music. I don't remember what was going on internally the moment I was writing this song....other than I'm just trying to listen like any other time I write a song. I'm often inspired or influenced by "harp and bowl" or by what I've heard from the International House of Prayer...yet this song stands apart and independent from being an imitation of that.
Lyrics
REJOICE (by Doug Wollman copyright 2006/2007 Spirit Breeze Music/Doug Wollman) My soul cries out to you In a dry and weary land. What else can I do But to put my trust in You? You have always been there. You have always cared. But I have walked away To the beat of a hardened heart. I hear Your voice and You’re a callin’ my name Telling me that it’s okay. So I let go of my fear And let You draw me near. So I let go of my fear And let You draw me near. (Chorus) My soul rejoices in You (4X) You are my Rock and my Strong Fortress. In You I put my trust. (2nd Verse) You oh Lord have heard the cry from my heart. You are the Fountain of Life. You are my reward. You have always been there. You have always cared. And I have heard Your Voice. To the beat of a softened heart. I hear your voice and it’s a callin’ my name Tellin’ me that it’s okay. So I let go of my fear and let You draw me near. So I let go of my fear and let You draw me near. (Electric Guitar Solo) (Chorus) My soul rejoices in You. (4X) You are my Rock and my Strong Fortress. In You I put my trust. You are my Rock and my Strong Fortress. In You I do rejoice.
